A Warm and Friendly Traditional members' club
The club was formed in 1893, although back then the club was originally called Southend Golf Club and it was located near Southchurch in Southend. In 1896 the membership were invited by James Tabor to move to Rochford where he offered to pay for construction of an eighteen hole course.
The Course
Rochford Hundred is a parkland course which is 6,355 yards from the white tees and has been that way since the course was redesigned in 1924.
The course par is 72.
